Child marriage is a deeply concerning practice that exerts a significant influence on society. This harmful tradition, prevalent in many parts of the world, deprives children, particularly girls, of their fundamental rights and opportunities. When young girls are forced into marriage before they reach adulthood, it disrupts their education, limits their potential, and perpetuates cycles of poverty and inequality. Through the workshop, ROTDOW believes that child marriage will gradually become a thing of the past in Nigeria with the great efforts of “Girls Not Brides” – The Global Partnership to End Child Marriage by bringing together the National Coalition of Civil Society Organization in Nigeria to End Child Marriage to develop an Advocacy Strategy.
The workshop attracted facilitators across the globe with high-capacity building skills. The 5 days Co-Creation Workshop in Abuja Nigeria reflected collaborative efforts to achieve desired results. The following are pictures highlights from the workshop.
