The annual Christmas Jumble Sales of the Restoration Of The Dignity Of Womanhood (ROTDOW) for the year 2022 was yet another remarkable event as residents most especially the less privileged trooped out to participate in this year’s sales.
At the event held along Oyemekun Road, Akure which witnessed massive turnout, parents freely strolled in to make last minutes preparation for the yuletide season.
The CEO, ROTDOW, Mrs. Olabisi Omolona while speaking on the essence of the program said it is a not-for-profit venture put together to put smiles on the faces of the people ahead of the Yuletide celebration saying most homes that cannot afford clothing materials, shoes, bags and other household items gets the opportunity to buy choice items for a token.
Mrs. Omolona also used the occasion to thank all her sponsors and supporters for their commitment to the cause in the last 14 years, urging other well meaning Nigerians to come and support the NGO to achieve its goals.
On sale during the event include clothing materials, ready made wears, bags, corporate wears, gown, shoes, baby carriers, baby feeders among others.
Some of the parents who spoke in a chat with topshotnews, applauded ROTDOW for yearly putting smiles on their faces saying it is timely and that it will go a long way in bringing succour to their individual families.
