Empowerment Programme on Start Your Business (SYB) Trainees for Youths in Cocoa Producing Communities in Ondo State

The ACCEL Africa Project sponsored by the International Labour Organization  implemented her project through the Restoration and Dignity of Womanhood (ROTDOW) and Kids & Teens Resource Centre by empowering the Start Your Business (SYB) trainees for youths and beneficiaries parents in cocoa producing communities in Ondo State with equipment and start up kits needed to start viable businesses that will bring their dreams alive and impact their communities. The country director of the International Labour Organization (for Nigeria, Ghana, Liberia and Sierra Leone), Ms Vanessa Lerato Phala urged the beneficiaries to make good use of the equipment to add value to their lives and improve the economic development of their communities.

We were honoured to have important dignitaries to grace the SYB trainees program both from the state and hosting communities in persons of Princess Adebunmi Osadahun (Commissioner for Women Affairs), Pastor Kayode Olaniyi Ogundele (Head of Service to the Ondo State Governor), Dr. Summy Smart Francis   (the Special Adviser on Entrepreneurship Development to Ondo State Governor) and  Community chiefs from the community.
