ROTDOW Advocacy Visit to Amurin Community on the ongoing SAC-VAWG Project

Women Advocates Research and Documentation Centre (WARDC) is a non profit civil rights organization established to promote respect for human rights, gender equality, equity, rule of law, accountability and social justice in Nigeria.

The SAC-VAWG project (Solidarity, Accountability and Commitment to ending Violence against Women and Girls) was funded by the Ford Foundation, of which ROTDOW was engaged on the Project to fight violence against Women and Girls in Amurin communities and Uso Communities/Owo Local Government.

The Community Dialogue at Amurin community. Oba Joel Alaafiatayo, the Kabiyesi of Amurin, Olori, Chief, lya-Loja, and the Community members pledged and signed the commitments slips and assured their commitment towards the SAC-VAWG project in their community.

The Executive Director ROTDOW, Mrs Omolona Olabisi employs the full collaboration of the Community members toward the success of the project.
