Who is a Child?
A young person of either sex
Teenager or juvenile
According to Nigerian law, a child is any young person of any sex or race who is less than 18 years of age.

Integrating all of these definitions, one would be convinced that a bright future for every child or any child means the preparation and system put in place for the now in order for these children to live a bright, positive, prosperous, marital, mental and emotional balanced and sustainable life

They are 6 key elements to put in place for every child’s future. They include Education, Relevant Skill Acquisition, Financial Management Skills, Marital, Leadership and Emotional Intelligent skills

Education: The official, formal, four-walled education system is fast fading away to give way to a new online system of not academics but skills. For we to build a bright future for every child, we would need to check out where the world system is moving to and for us to position every child there before the world gets there! What we need to expose every child to is what is known as education.
What is education? Education means a set of instructions, a system of training or the process of edification. It also means a set of instructions, a system of training or the process of edification.
It also means
1. The activities of educating or instructing; activities that impart knowledge or skill
2. The result of good upbringing (especially knowledge of correct social behavior)
3. The gradual process of acquiring knowledge. The four-walled education system is called the academics while the enlightenment that makes for job-skill through instructions and learning is called education.
4. The profession of teaching (especially at a school, college or university). This is the education that is being faded out right under our nose. If we must prepare a bright future for every child, we need to guide them out of the curricular induced education into the appropriate education for them.
5. Education is a preparation for life not for financial wages! That’s the mistake we had made for decades back. What we need now is called Relevant Education.

What is relevant education?
Relevant education refers to the appropriateness of students’ learning opportunities. Relevant education takes into account positive local traditions and institutions, positive cultural practices, belief systems, and the needs of the community. It is like thinking local but acting global!
Since education is about Knowledge acquired by learning and instruction, a lot of instructions and learning are gotten online without going through the regular four-walled educational system. We need to begin to expose every child to this new way and system of education if not, they may end up schooling for 4 to 5 years and would come out find no job relevant to their career pursuit in schools attended and would become stranded in the new emerging world from the globalist.

What are the positive socio-cultural practicces and principles (traditions) you think could be added to training the young ones for a brighter future?

Our ways of greetings
Saving habits (kolo)
Dressing sense, calved works, etc
However, not all traditions are to be adopted.

How to Annex the New Appropriate Education for Every Child in the Future
1. Parents and teachers need to guide every child within his or her contact on how to access online studies.
2. Schools and book authors/printing companies in Nigeria should begin to upload some lessons and books online only to arrest the attention of the students.
3. Key into digital technology in current educational system.
What is digital technology in education? What is it? By digital technology we mean the use of computer and technology assisted strategies to support learning within schools. Approaches in this area vary widely, but generally involve: technology for students, where learners use programs or applications designed for problem solving or open-ended learning right from primary and secondary schools.

What will education be like in 2030?

By 2030, it will be the norm for students to have the flexibility to read, interact and engage in learning activities on-the-go. … Their learning materials will be in the palm of their hands. We will also see them learning via platforms they are accustomed to, such as Twitter and Facebook.8 May 2019
If by now our children are still learning with all text books bought and in broken classes and teachers and students hardly have a tablet or laptop to themselves, how bleak would the future be? This generation should teach the upcoming generation but they are lagging behind.
Think about the type-writer/computer age. Recall how people lost their income and career due to inability to adjust to the computer age.
Only Two Countries in the World Have Yet to Resume Face-to-Face Classes: The Philippines is the only country in Asia, and one of two countries in the world, that has yet to resume physical classes in school. The other country is Venezuela.9 Sep 2021
You see, if we do not start now to prepare every Nigerian Child to arrive the world scene before 2030, we would find them stranded in the world of career and jobs. For that not to be our portion and the portion of every child in our care, we need to sit up, stand right and guide every child into the new wave of educational system that reduces paper work, cramming, read to pass exams only to digital world! Even the career in medicine and engineering will also be affected. By 2030, robots will begin to handle surgeries and complex building edifices successfully. It is already being test-run effectively.
Relevant education will cut off rape by boys, domestic violence by both gender,

Skill Acquisition:

Today, it is discovered that academics without hand-on skills is a waste. Yet in the future, certain skills will not be relevant to fetch money for skilled workers anymore. In this area, we need to prepare every child for only the skills that will be relevant in the future. Vocations like hair-dressing are not really looking s promising as they used to, Because most people have little or no time nowadays to waste, sitting at a salon for hours. Artificial add-ons like wigs have become very popular. Several people are in line with me. So tell, if a child is only sent to learn hairdressing skill involving plaiting of hair only, of what importance would that be to a world of females who hardly will have time to sit and plait hair?
So, children should be guided to learn relevant skills that will endure the global change coming in the future. Wig making is one skill that test of times. The concept of competency implies more than just the acquisition of knowledge and skills; it involves the mobilization of knowledge, skills, attitudes and values to meet complex demands. Future-ready students will need both broad and specialized knowledge. Disciplinary knowledge will continue to be important, as the raw material from which new knowledge is developed, together with the capacity to think across the boundaries of disciplines and “connect the dots”.
