WOMEN EMPOWERMENT

ROTDOW in partnership with Help for the helpless foundation, a Non-Governmental Organization who organize a program held at Medical and Health Worker Hall, Akure On 3rd April 2019. The program started with open prayer and invitation of the guest to the high table, the organizations were recognized and welcome address by Mrs Bola Inyang.

The theme is impacting life and fulfilling dreams. Mrs Uyi Falayi who God used to put up the program commended for singlehandedly putting resources together that runs to millions in order to bring smiles to the faces of 100 people.

The founder of help for the helpless foundation who is also a senior pastor bible church of reconciliation, Dr Beatrice Arowofalaju said her vision is to touch lives and fulfil the purpose of God. According to her, God arrested and instructed her to become a channel of blessing by giving to the needy and less privileged.

In her goodwill messages, rev Mrs Olabisi Omolona, the CEO of the Restoration of the Dignity of Womanhood (ROTDOW) whose outfit was on ground to provide free medical checks at the programme, she also applauded the founded for the initiatives, saying she is indeed a cheerful giver who has dedicated her life to bringing smiles to faces of the less privileged.

The distribution of gifts to empowered widows, widowers, the physically challenged peoples and others with cash gifts and food items. Some of the beneficiaries appreciated the efforts of the NGO and wish them success in life. The participants were taken from churches, mosques, NGOs and communities at large.
