GLOBAL MONEY WEEK

ROTDOW IN COLLABORATION WITH ASSOCIATION OF NON-BANK MICRO FINANCE INSTITUTION OF NIGERIA MARKED GLOBAL MONEY WEEK  at Oyemekun Grammar School, Akure on the 28th March 2019.

Global Money Week is a week dedicated to sensitised the children and youth on the importance of financial inclusion and savings. The program was conducted on the assembly ground so that all the students will benefit. started  The teachers and students were fully in attendance.

Mrs Inyang Bola gave the introductory speech thereby presenting the team (ANMFIN) Association of Non- Bank Micro Finance Institution of Nigeria to the audience.

The facilitator Mr Adegbenga Omolola from Central Bank of Nigeria Akure came on board and made the students know what saving means. It was an interactive session as a various question were posed to the students, while they answered them correctly. However, the program was a very interesting type of its kind.

Being what the theme is “Learn, Save, Earn” The students were made to know what saving means, how to start to save whatever amount and realize at the end the sweetness in saving.

At this juncture, students who answered the question correctly were given presents while somewhere given money to start saving.

There was a student, who was considered for a present being. When most students were making noise, he was busy jotting what the facilitator was delivering.

Eventually vote of thanks was given to both staff & student and then a group photograph was taken.
